Our most successful clients are service business owners: professionals
such as dentists, veterinarians, chiropractors, doctors, accountants,
service brokers and varied service providers, etc. with 10-100 employees
and no internal marketing department.
They are located primarily in the United States and locally in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas market.
These clients have typically been in business for over 5 years. They understand what they don’t like about their lack of business growth. They just don’t understand “why.”
These professionals are outwardly successful and have done very little strategic marketing. They are often “doctors” who are “supposed to be” successful … and aren’t happy with their financial results or peace of mind. They’ve had no real education in business, and are still in business.
Before our work with clients, internally these business owners often struggle with the want and need for more new patients, more new clients or customers, and more profitability to feel satisfied in their area of expertise. The greatest problem our clients face before our work together is that they have lost control, or never had control, over the various marketing initiatives and marketing requirements for their business. What they have implemented in marketing may have been created on the fly with sporadic ads or campaigns over the years. They have been tactical marketers, at best, without any real long term marketing strategy.
They usually have no real stated or followed “mission or purpose” before we begin. “IT” may be talked about, but there is no real targeted approach, support systems, or processes to insure that mission or purpose would be accomplished over time through a team effort and accountability.
They have also found it hard to grow their business beyond its current market share due to increasing competition, unwillingness to change or not change current staff and/or circumstances, etc. Or, it may have something to do with what competitors may be doing, or, not doing.
