Entering dental practice management in 1981, Sandra was the Administrator of a Dallas group dental practice for 5 years.  During this time, she led their business growth from $540,000 to over $2.7 million per year by 1985.  They expanded from 9 to 75 employees in four years – a major team building, coaching and business growth process!

Leading this group to the top 1% of their field – marketing, systemization, team building and a solution focus became Sandra’s key business strengths.  Her greatest satisfaction and personal passion in all of this became helping others to realize their full potential personally and professionally.  With a team of 75 there were ongoing challenges and rewards here. 

Abruptly, in 1985, Sandra had a major setback.  She thought her life had come to an end.  Her 17-year marriage was broken.  Her husband announced he was having an affair and no longer wanted the responsibility of marriage or their daughter.  Like it or not, Sandra’s teen daughter and she had a whole new life ahead.  This felt like death at the time.   But, it actually became the birth of Sandra’s new career and carrying her passion for people in business to a much higher level. 

After much soul searching, in 1986 Sandra resigned with the Dallas group. Her family thought she was having post-marital crazies.  But, she knew she had learned a mastery level of skills in practice management and small business marketing that must be shared beyond one business.  She knew that dentistry was one of the hardest services to sell.  And, seeing the success created in this arena made the thought of more work with other professionals even more exciting.

Sandra took one year to apprentice with a national practice management firm before opening her own practice.  This commitment gave her hands-on experience in hundreds of businesses.  She specialized with dentists, chiropractors, veterinarians, physicians and other service professionals.  She achieved Senior Consultant status within five months and was given the firm’s most challenging clients.  With this and thousands of jet miles behind her, in 1987, she founded Advance Associates, Inc.

Sandra has served hundreds of service professionals, small business owners and teams since 1986.  Her clients typically rise to the top 5-10% of their field during their business development with her.  Today she continues her passionate quest to lead dentists, doctors and small business owners to achieve the business and lives of their dreams.  With personalized consulting and coaching services, she works exclusively with small business professionals who want to grow revenue to their next level, expand their client base and improve their overall quality of life.

Sandra lives in Arlington, Texas with her Jack Russell, Rosy.  Her daughter and grandson live nearby and they enjoy regular family dates together.  Her new book, Alive on Purpose: Secrets to Living the Personal and Professional Life of Your Dreams, is set for publishing in 2008.
